If you’re having trouble getting pregnant or staying pregnant, you’re not alone. More than seven million men and women in the US struggle with infertility. Two thirds of infertility cases can be attributed to a problem specific to a male or female partner—in about one third of all infertility cases, the cause of infertility is undetermined. However, age remains our biggest obstacle to success.

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) recommends seeing a fertility specialist (reproductive endocrinologist) if you are under age 35 and unable to get pregnant after trying for 12 months. If you’re over 35 and have been trying without success for 6 months, it is recommend that you seek the assistance of a fertility doctor. Reproductive Associates of Northern California will work closely with you and present you with effective fertility treatment options. Because the clock doesn’t stop.

You might be feeling alone, worried and hopeless, but we’re happy to see you. You need to know you’re not alone – one in seven U.S. couples experience infertility during their lives.

Male infertility might feel isolating, but you’re far from alone – men and woman experience infertility equally, and sperm issues are relatively common.

You don’t fit neatly into a mold, and neither do we. At Reproductive Medicine Associates of Northern California, we offer individualized fertility care to everyone who walks through our doors, regardless of how they look or who they love.
